How do I register?
The registration fee is $40 per team unless your school is a corporate member of CBCA Qld Branch. When you join CBCA you will be sent a code to use when registering a team. This will give you 100% discount on registration. If you plan to join, do not register until you have this code.
Select your region and follow the link to that TryBooking event to register your team. If your Region allows more than one team per school, you will be able to register them together. This requires upfront payment via credit card unless you are a corporate member and have been sent a booking code for your discount.
At the same time as you register your team, an email alert is sent to your regional coordinator so they can communicate with you about your regional finals.

If you are unable to pay via Trybooking, you can download a generic invoice, process via your finance department, and on receipt of payment, CBCA Qld branch will forward you a code to then register. This process will take approximately two weeks from when funds are received in CBCA Qld account..
What are the regions?
There are no regional boundaries. You should select the competition that best suits your situation and this can even be influenced by dates held as much as proximity to the venue.
Information for each regional competition will be added as it is supplied by the regions. If you have a query relating to your region please contact your regional coordinator.
How many teams can we enter?
Unless stated otherwise, one team per school for each competition (ie 5/6, 7/8 and 9.10)
When do registrations close?
The end of term 1.
When can students be given the books?
In general books should not be given to the team until the last week of Term 1. Refer to your Region's information for specific details.

Why is payment now required before/or at registration?
The regional and state competitions are funded through registrations, membership to CBCA Qld, and other fundraising. CBCA Qld and Readers Cup are run totally by volunteers and we do not have the capacity to run accounts and follow up payments. Unfortunately consistent non- payment of registrations has forced us to change this to an upfront payment instead.
If you have any questions about registration or the Readers Cup, please use the Enquiries and Feedback form
